PoolZenia Ottawa — pool care that finally looks like peace of mind

Pool & hot tub care · seasonal service 🇨🇦 Ottawa (Kanata), Ontario September 2026

PoolZenia looks after pools and hot tubs across the season: water care programs, openings and closings, liners, safety covers and hot tub service. The Ottawa location has 127 Google reviews at 4.8 stars, but the website was the franchise's generic Wix template — a promo popup, a postal-code field before any content, franchise links in the main menu, and no Ottawa, no reviews, no faces. We designed a quiet, premium identity — Midnight navy, aqua, ivory, a Bodoni wordmark and a two-stroke wave — and rebuilt the homepage for an Ottawa pool owner: one promise above the fold, six services with what's included, the Water Care Program as the signature offer, the pool year as a calendar, the 4.8 rating on the page, a service-area map, an FAQ and a short request form. A pool-care concierge on the site qualifies the request and books the first visit; every request lands as a lead with a notification. The same brand went onto the Google Maps cover, the service van, uniforms, business cards and an Instagram grid that follows the season.

Where it started

The old homepage opened with a promo popup ('Choose your offer and get a free pool closing') over the hero, then asked for a postal code before it said anything about the company. The menu mixed customer items with 'Locations' and 'Franchise', services sat in a template grid with 'Learn more' links, and the 4.8 rating with 127 reviews existed only on Google. Nothing on the page said Ottawa.

Concept build for the Ottawa location; not published on poolzenia.com. Pool photography is illustrative; the rating is from a profile snapshot and is rechecked before publication. The concierge and form are live on the demo: requests are stored and confirmed through the Lead Key backend; the official booking portal is linked as well.

01 · AI Website

The website: Just swim. We'll take care of the rest.

A homepage that reads like the promise. The pool at its best behind a navy panel, 'Just swim.' in Bodoni with the aqua italic, one button to book and one to call, the Google rating in a card — then everything a pool owner wants to know before calling: services, the program, the calendar, the reasons, the reviews, the area, the answers.

  • Editorial hero: Bodoni headline with an aqua italic, four proof points (4.8 on Google, full-season programs, a report every visit, Ottawa based), book and call buttons, Google rating card
  • Six services with photos and three inclusions each; 'Book' opens the concierge with the service pre-selected, 'Details' links to the official service page
  • The Water Care Program as the signature offer: testing on every visit, full-season options, reports and reminders, one number — with a season-quote button
  • 'Four seasons, one calendar': opening, summer care, closing and winter on a timeline, so the client understands the whole year
  • Why PoolZenia in four promises, a captioned gallery, the 4.8 rating with what clients come back for, a service-area map of Ottawa neighbourhoods and a six-question FAQ
  • Request form with 'what happens next', the concierge card, the Kanata address, phone and email; the official booking portal linked for people who prefer it
  • Sticky call and booking bar on phones, lightbox gallery, reduced-motion respected; no design-tool runtime, loads in under a second
Care for every season

Six photographed service cards with three inclusions each, a Book button that opens the concierge with the service selected, and a link to the official service page.

The Water Care Program

The signature offer on navy: testing on every visit, full-season options, visit reports and reminders, one number — and a season-quote button.

Four seasons, one calendar

Opening, summer care, closing and winter on a timeline with the months, so a client sees the whole year of care at a glance.

Peace of mind, delivered

Trained technicians, a report every visit, reminders instead of surprises, and fair written quotes — the four promises behind the tagline.

4.8 on Google, on the page

The rating and 127 reviews with a link to Google, next to what Ottawa pool owners come back for.

Ready for more pool days?

The request form, the four things that happen next, the concierge card and the Kanata contact details — with the official booking portal one click away.

The approved concept

The direction the site was built from: desktop and phone on one board.

02 · Brand & Design

Brand: navy, aqua and a two-stroke wave

The identity turns 'Peace of Mind Pool Care' into something you can see: Midnight #101748, Aqua #66CDE0 and Ivory, the POOLZENIA wordmark in Bodoni Moda, a P monogram with the wave, a water texture, and four line icons for water care, liners, pool and safety covers — applied to uniforms, signage, cards, the van and the on-site kit.

The wordmark

POOLZENIA in Bodoni Moda with 'Peace of Mind Pool Care' letter-spaced underneath and the aqua wave — reconstructed as vector so it works on the van and at favicon size.

Brand identity board

Palette, typography ('Just swim.' in Bodoni, Inter for body), wave motif and water texture, icons, team uniform, signage, business cards, the service vehicle and on-site essentials.

03 · Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile: the cover people see first

With 127 reviews, the Maps listing is where Ottawa pool owners meet PoolZenia first. The new cover pairs the wordmark and the promise with the pool at its best, so the listing matches the website and the van.

The Maps cover

Navy panel with the POOLZENIA wordmark, 'Peace of Mind Pool Care' and 'Pool & hot tub care', cut by the wave into the sunlit pool photo — the cover for Google and Facebook.

04 · Instagram

Instagram: the pool year in six posts

A profile that reads like the service calendar — highlight covers for Services, Water Care, Seasonal, Liners and Hot Tubs — and a launch grid that follows the season: opening, liners, covers, closing, hot tubs.

Profile and launch grid

Bio with 'Book your service', five highlight covers with the line icons, and six posts in navy and aqua: 'Just swim.', 'Hello, pool season.', 'A fresh start.', 'Covered with care.', 'See you next season.', 'Your reset, ready.'

05 · AI Automations

AI automations: a concierge that books the first visit

Pool owners call in April, all at once, and the phone line belongs to a franchise call centre. The concierge on the site takes the request at 10 pm, asks what a technician would ask, and books the first visit into an open slot — with the lead landing on the Ottawa team's list instead of a voicemail.

  • Guided intake in the chat: service, pool type, timing, neighbourhood or postal code, name and mobile — chips for speed, free text when people type
  • Free-text understanding: 'the water went green' becomes the Water Care Program, 'my spa needs a drain' becomes hot tub service; with Claude connected the concierge also answers questions in the brand's voice
  • First-visit booking: the next open weekday slots (8:00, 11:00, 14:00) offered as chips; the choice goes into the request with a reference number
  • Every request — chat or form — is stored as a lead in the Lead Key portal and sent to the team's inbox with the full summary
  • Confirmation and reminder: the client sees the reference immediately; the SMS confirmation and day-before reminder run from the same lead once the number is connected
  • Season reminders plug into the same list: opening and closing bookings, program renewals and cover checks before they are due
Qualified in seven questions

Pool opening, inground, as soon as possible, Kanata, a slot at 11 AM — the concierge shows the summary and asks for a yes.

Booked, with a reference

The request is stored and the Ottawa team notified; the client gets a reference and the promise of a text confirmation and a day-before reminder.

Form and chat, one lead

Whichever way a client starts, the same lead record is created with the same reference format, so the team works from one list.
